  • 13th January 2008 - Have your say on local football

The FA’s National Game Strategy 2008-12 will outline how North Riding FA will work both nationally and locally to develop football to ensure you can all enjoy the game in a safe, positive environment.

Nearly 20,000 football participants and providers have already had their say in the most fundamental review to date of the state of grassroots football in England. Having your say is important because NRCFA want to ensure the Strategy delivers what you want for football over the next four years.

Now it is the turn of NRCFA to hold three interactive events where anyone with an interest in the grassroots game can have their say. Topics to be addressed will include some of the hottest in football: growth and retention within the game, raising standards, running the game and creating better players. Please return the enclosed booking form to reserve your place at one of the consultation events. Please note the venues will be announced on thier website www.northridingfa.com in due course.

In addition to these main events, North Riding County FA are also offering the opportunity to put opinions forward via an online survey at www.northridingfa.com/Development/YourGameYourSay/. Please take the time to fill in this short questionnaire online. As a thank you, you can enter into our prize draw to win a pair of tickets to a 2010 World Cup Qualifier at Wembley Stadium with hospitality in The FA Club. The closing date for this survey is 14 February. You must register for a FAN number to enter the competition if you do not already have one.
