Easingwold Town AFC is keen to ensure all of our coaches have the necessary skills and support to provide high quality coaching to our players. This section of the website is dedicated to highlighting resources and opportunities for our coaches.
Director of Coaching
In addition to managing the Angels, Mark Sherwood was appointed Director of Coaching for the club ahead of the 2011/12 season. Mark suppports the junior team managers by delivering sessions for each age group as well as running some dedicated goalkeeping sessions.
Coach the Coaches Events
The 2013/14 season saw the first coach the coaches event where two FA Skills Coaches ran a coaching demonstration on "playing through the thirds". The presentation can be downloaded below and coaches are encouraged to request future content topics at the club caches meetings.
The Coaching Family
Follow @coachingfamily on twitter is a great way of picking up resources and session ideas created by experienced coaches. A number of coaches have come together to produce five sharing booklets to be used by grassroots coaches. Two of these booklets can be downloaded below and due to the size of the files, the others can be downloaded from http://coachingfamily.com/coaching-family-sharing-booklets/
FA Future Game Document
The FA's Future Game document is The FA's vision and playing philosophy that aims to create more and better technically gifted players. ETAFC full embraces this vision and has bought a copy of the booklet and session ideas for each of our age groups.
The restricted members area of this website holds lots of coaching resources and session ideas that our members can download and use with their teams. This is just one of the benefits of being a member at Easingwold Town AFC.
